Smoking

Smoking is not permitted throughout the hotel (including on the roof terrace). If you smoke anyway, we are obliged to charge a fine of €150.-.

Cleaning

We can clean your room daily between 10:00-14:00. If you don´t want us to clean your room place the “do not disturb card” or send us a (whatsapp) message before 10:00. All white towels must remain in the room. If you would like to receive clean towels, please put your used towels on the shower tray.

Beach towel: You can lend a beachtowel in case you need one. You can find them at the roof terrace. Please return this towel in the laundry basket after your stay. Please don´t take a new towel eveyday. You can dry your towel on the drying rack on the roofterrace.

We wash in an environmentally friendly way, we try to use the dryer as little as possible and do not iron.

Air conditioning and heating

We hope that Menorca will remain as beautiful as it is, which is why we are an ecological hotel and have air conditioning and hot water systems that respect the environment.

Please shut down the air conditioning or heating when you leave the room, this can be done with 1 switch near the door.

Air conditioning and heating only work when the windows are closed.

Press the “ON/OFF” button, the air conditioner will turn on and the operation light will come on. Press the “ON/OFF” button again, the air conditioner will turn off and the operation light will go out.

Each time the “MODE” button is pressed, the operation mode changes in the following order COOL-HOT-DRY-FAN-AUTO

COLD will be displayed in cooling mode. During this time you should always select a lower temperature than the one in the room.
HEAT will be displayed in heating mode. During this time you should always select a higher temperature than the one in the room. Sometimes it starts with “standby heat” in this case you have to wait until the heating mode starts.

Please switch off when you are not in the room and when you go out during the day. Not only is it unfriendly to the environment and expensive, but it is not advisable to do it all the time.

Bathroom

If you are going to take a shower, please close the bathroom door and open the bathroom window. Steam from the hot water may set off the fire alarm.
Throwing toilet paper down the toilet is OK, but not sanitary products, diapers, tissues, etc. Anything other than paper will result in a blockage and a very unpleasant job to solve.

Water

It is recommended to use bottled water. We have a tap with a waterfilter upstairs in the kitchen.

Would you like to leave your bags at the hotel after the check-out? Please ask us a day before and we will prepare the key and the room.

Ecotasa

ECOTASA is a tourist tax or tourist fee used by public bodies as a source of funding for the promotion of tourism or the preservation of the environment.
If you still have to pay the ecotax, we will send you a link to pay with your creditcard.

Rooftop terrace

Pardela Menorca offers you a roof terrace with impressive views that will be open only for hotel guests. The roof terrace is a perfect place to start the day with a coffee or in the evening to watch the sunset. You can make a coffee or tea and prepare your breakfast. Please don´t leave food in the kitchen, but take it back to your room.

Please leave the kitchen and the terrace as you found them. Can you please put the cushions inside after use?

Parking

Free parking is available in the vicinity of Pardela Menorca. There is a large parking area in at Parking Cales Fonts. (3 minutes by foot).

There are many places in the neighborhood for breakfast. In the downtown cafes or in Cales Fonts Bay (2 min. walk).

Emergency treatment can be received at Hospital Mateu Orfila, Ronda de Malbúger 1, Mahón in ‘Urgencies’ (Emergency Department). This is a National Health facility. If you choose to use the national health system you have to bring your passport and a European Health Insurance Card.

If you have travel insurance with health care you can go to a private hospital.

Some points of attention

Leave the building immediately in case of a fire alarm.
It is absolutely forbidden to light candles because of the fire alarm and the danger of fire. The fire alarm system is activated immediately.
Masking our smoke detectors is strictly prohibited.
Smoking is not allowed throughout the hotel. If you smoke anyway, we are obliged to charge a cleaning fee of EUR 150,-.
If our fire alarm system goes off due to negligence on your part, we are obliged to recover the costs arising from you.
Valid identification must be presented at check-in.
You are not allowed to receive unregistered guests or other hotel guests in your room. If other guests are found in the room, a corresponding fine will be charged.
The maximum number of people specified in the reservation is allowed in the hotel room.
You are not allowed to consume, use, market or take medication with you.
It is not permitted to disturb other guests by loud music, misbehavior or noise of any kind.
You are not allowed to receive visitors in your rooms for sexual activities.
You must hand in lost property at the reception desk. Pardela Menorca is not responsible for the loss or theft of your belongings.
Please do not let anyone in.

The Administration, the owner of this location and/or the people working for the hotel cannot be responsible for any injury and/or material or non-material damage that visitors to the location may experience.

If you do not comply with the above rules or if the damage, loss or destruction of Pardela Menorca property results in immediate removal, liability and/or reporting to the police. In all cases not covered by these rules, the Board of Directors of Pardela Menorca decides
