The 10 most beautiful calas
Handpicked by your Menorca specialist, the bays worth the early start, the walk or the boat. Tap any cove to see how to reach it, what to expect, and the local tip you won't find on the signposts.
A local note from Clarice: honestly, almost every beach on Menorca is beautiful. In high summer, avoid the busiest calas on the south coast, or reach them by boat. And for something active, pair a beach day with a kayak from Cala en Porter or Es Grau.
Not sure which cove fits your trip?
Some need a boat, some a long walk, some are perfect with toddlers. Tell Clarice your group and your dates, she'll match the beaches to your stay and arrange the boat trips.
Island highlights
More than the beaches, the 10 places where you really feel the island. Old towns, clifftop viewpoints, ancient stone and a sunset bar carved into the rock. Click a spot for how to get there and the local tip.
Build it into your days
Clarice weaves these into your trip, a sunset session, a harbour boat, tickets and timings, so you see the best of the island without the planning headache.
Where the locals eat
Clarice's handpicked tables
From tapas in Maó and lobster-stew classics in Fornells to summer beach clubs and clifftop sunsets, these are the tables Clarice sends her guests to. Tap any spot for the details, and she'll happily book it for you.
The table is the hard part, so let Clarice book it
The best places fill up weeks ahead in summer. Tell Clarice your dates and what you fancy, caldereta in Fornells, a sunset terrace, a Michelin night, and she'll reserve it for you.

The Menorca Guide
Years of island knowledge, in one place. Honest guides to the beaches, villages, food and hidden corners, written by someone who actually lives here. (Articles fill up in phase 2.)
Every guide leads somewhere
Each article connects to the right stays and experiences, so reading turns naturally into planning. This is how Pardela gets found, and how guests arrive ready to book direct.
About Clarice
Pardela carries a family story. Clarice's grandfather dreamed of running a hotel with his family; her mother's name, Vogelaar, "the one of the birds", lives on in the pardela, the Balearic seabird that nests right here on Menorca. Two birds in flight: family, together.
For years Clarice has lived, worked and written about the island, building the local knowledge and the network of trusted partners that turn a stay into a real Menorca experience. Where others hand you keys, she hands you the island.
That's the promise of Pardela: book the stay, and we'll handle the rest, the car at the airport, the quiet cala, the table where the locals eat.
Is your dream home on Menorca?
My name is Clarice de Bruin. Living on Menorca was always my dream, and it's one I've since made real. I think it's a wonderful island, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others.
I believe Menorca is a wonderful place to live, to holiday and to invest. The moment you arrive, you feel how relaxed it is. Everywhere you look, you see how carefully islanders have cared for this place for generations. Menorca is clean, safe, and nature comes first here, and the sun shines for most of the year.
I live on Menorca with my two daughters. We've been coming to the island regularly since 2008, and although it's relatively small, there's an enormous amount to discover, after all these years we still haven't seen it all. On my blog I share tips, inspiration and the island's hidden gems.
When you picture a home in the Balearics, your mind may go straight to Mallorca or Ibiza. But have you ever considered a dream home on Menorca?
Menorca was once called Mallorca's quiet little sister, but that picture is well out of date. The island offers a rare combination of calm, authenticity and comfort: stylish hotels, excellent restaurants and a high quality of life, without the crowds you'll find on some other islands.
Did you know Menorca has more beaches than Mallorca and Ibiza combined? From sweeping stretches of sand to hidden coves of crystal-clear water, there's something for everyone.
One of the island's greatest draws is the Camí de Cavalls, a historic path that traces Menorca's entire coastline, perfect for walking, running, riding and mountain biking, passing remote beaches, dramatic cliffs and hidden caves along the way. Here you can kayak, sail, dive, snorkel, or simply soak up the quiet on an idyllic beach beside an azure sea.
More and more walkers discover Menorca in spring and autumn. And travellers who love the buzz of Ibiza increasingly choose Menorca too, somewhere to truly unwind. It's exactly that combination of nature, calm, quality and authenticity that makes the island so special.
Who knows, your dream home might just be on Menorca.
